Wherever I go, I look for the perfect tiles and random treasures that can be used as-is or smashed into beautiful bits to create a complete moasic. Look carefully at my work, and you'll see yard-sale crockery, tiger-eye agate, handmade beads, colored glass, geodes, photographs, semi-precious stones, figurines, seashells, and the remains of well-loved ceramics tipped over by our cat, the world's clumsiest house pet.
I've mosaiced over small sculptures, platters, Buddha heads, floors, columns, guitars, and whole walls – in other words, anything solid that doesn’t move makes a good palate. Maybe you'd like a fabulous fireplace, amazing tabletop, or a customized piece made from your grandmother's dinnnerware – anything is possible.
